Rock Stacking.

Maine Coast near Surry at Morgan's bay.

I always thought it was the lack of native rock in Smith County, Texas that drove this urge, but maybe it's universal.

I don't expect they made it through the winter, but would be interesting to know how long they lasted.

Several good links on the SwissMiss comments.  Via Breda.  Thanx!

What's the scale on that? Are we looking at pebbles, or boulders? It's an impressive piece of artwork, in any case.

The smallest rock in the photo weighs approx 10,000 kilos. Maybe 10,500.

There are people standing on the base rock flying kites.
