That was General Cos description of the Texians who threw him out of San Antonio in the beginning of the Texas Revolution. I'd say he was spot on.

I'll stick with Texan Damn it. Parents had the good sense to be here when I was born. Made the standard Texan mistake of accepting a job out of state to figure out the rest of the country just doesn't stack up so I moved back.
