I'm confused.
Please explain to a citified yankee girl how a cow (and that IS a cow-cow, right?) can die in the woods.
The cow died of old age probably. The rancher hitched it up to the tractor and dragged it down to this corner of the woods. Brahma cow. The guy has about 30. Treats them like pets.
