A non-firing Lemat could indeed be progress.

Non firing, what is with that? might as well have a plastic model of a Kentucky Rifle over the simulated fireplace in digital mode.

Non firing? WTF is it good for?

I've thought about buying one of the functioning repros.

Given the price difference between an Italian copy and even a rusty paperweight of an original, the copy makes a lot of sense if all you want to do is shoot one.

(This goes for wheellock pistols and folding-trigger Colt-Pattersons, too...)
