There was not a better man than Rick Crawford; a true gentleman and friend. He touched so many lives and helped so many. His legacy is very large indeed.

So many things left unsaid, thank yous not given for all the time and patience he shared with us all. Rick gave of himself, his knowledge and skill. He could make you feel better just by commenting on things you had done right and forgetting those things you had done wrong. He was a Man among men. Some of us (me)were in awe of his ability to hold bad weather off during a match although he denied any such ability. We are lucky to have been able to call him friend and to have spent time with him. He will be truly missed. S!

Its sad to hear about Rick Crawford passing. Lets remember all the good things he did for we service rifle folks. I will miss him at matches. I can't say enough good things about him. Thanks Rick, you were and are the best.

I presume heart attack or stroke. It is always a shock when it is so quick.

His rifle will be missed.

Make sure his Trophy is presented each year!

I met Mr. Crawford at Fort Wolters several years ago, seems it was the Texas high power matches….when Fort Wolters allowed civilians to shoot there. Rick had to check my rifle’s trigger pull. He was very polite to me and the other shooters, he explained the rules to me and I had a great time. I came in second from the bottom…again
Rick Crawford will be missed… sorry for your loss… The Crawford family, Robert Langham, Guys on the Texas State Rifle Team and many people Rick touched in his life, he was and is a true Texas gentleman…
