Japanese Zero takes off to attack Pearl Harbor, December 7th, 1941
Pearl Harbor story. I was thinking of posting a story about a Japanese Mini-sub that has lived in Fredricksburg, Texas at the Nimitz Museum for a long time, but this seems a little more up to date.
Wonder if the crew did get away?
Are Japanese Midget subs actually crewed by.....midgets?

My grand parents filmed the mini-sub as it was paraded in Henderson Texas during WW2. Same sub you are talking about.
And yes, compared to us they were midgets. The midget sub is currently displayed in the Nimitz Museum in Fredericksburg, Texas, I think.
A.
I wonder, did the two that seem to have fired their torpedos walk away? Since one of the other subs had written instructions on a safe house, who knows.
I will say, my hats off to those two. They served their country and did a bold deed. I kind of hope they walked away.
