Doe watching me as I walked into the cam in town. I didn't push her and finally she faded back across the creek. Twins at the cam at the lake. Doe and fawn at the other lake cam. Standard stuff.

We have a doe in my neighbor's back yard (a large sized valley that contains the HS football field) that is chasing dogs and people out of the valley.
No, she's just testy. Take a handfull of corn and see if you can sneak up on her and GRAB her, then ride her around the yard for a bit so that she can buck some of that meaness out!

Is that the behavior of a doe protecting a fawn?
Is it possible for a deer to be rabid?
