Field notes from Northeast Texas.
It's about the only place in London you can get a decent burger. And Lonestar beer.
The man who oversaw the opening of The Texas Embassy restaurant in London, Thom Jackson, was a neighbor of mine for several years in Dallas. Great post here. Unrelated note-- we didn't have time for Cadillac Ranch or Panhandle Plains Museum when we came through there yesterday with Lovely Tam, MattG, Old NFO, aepilotjim and Ambulance Driver yesterday, but Himself and i hope to swing by there with them the way back home.
We actually ate there last month during a visit to the UK. Even though I am not a native Texan I made sure to marry one, so they let me in. Pretty decent burger.
FYI, the Texas Embassy Cantina is not located where the actual embassy was. The restaurant is just off of Trafalgar Square.
