I've thought about buying one of the functioning repros.
Given the price difference between an Italian copy and even a rusty paperweight of an original, the copy makes a lot of sense if all you want to do is shoot one.
(This goes for wheellock pistols and folding-trigger Colt-Pattersons, too...)

A non-firing Lemat could indeed be progress.
Non firing, what is with that? might as well have a plastic model of a Kentucky Rifle over the simulated fireplace in digital mode.
