Didn't Bush meet with His Holiness? I mean the Dalai, not Obama. Of course Bush didn't owe the Chicoms as much money as Obama does, so there's that.

This just makes me heartbroken for our country. It makes me understand even less why people continue to think Obama is such a wonderful guy, why they refuse to question him, why they turn their eyes from his truth.
And PS - Love this image of His Holiness.

Meeting with the Dalai Lama sends a message. That is why you would meet him or any other great leader, like Lech Wałęsa, as was done when he lead the Polish revolt.
To not meet such a person sends the message they, and their cause, has no importance to the administation (as is the case with Obama.)
