Owens Archive Shopping

These guys are probably getting rich off of public sector photos, but more power to them.  I'm having fun just perusing their files.  If you don't like trains or WWII, the th Civil War or Aviation, or how about a Bardot photo when she was 18?  Hard to beat.  I'm Christmas shopping.

Of course, people are going to get what I like...

You'd like the LIFE photo archive on Google then.

Owens Archive has grate classic Hollywood photographs that you can't get from Life photo. I purchase a few rare photographs from Owens Archives and all photos are printed on Kodak paper, better then Life photos! I will shop again!!

Sweet photos, I just received some world war II photos of the 82nd Airborne division, the same division that my grandfather was in. I'm giving them to my Dad for Christmas,
check these photos out.

I've bought photos from both Owens Archive and Robert McMahan Photography. Owens seems to have more variety (like hot pin-ups), but I found that Robert's prints have no competition. I don't know how they do it, but the prints are all just stunning. Maybe they are using real negatives instead of copying prints. Either way, they are both treasure troves, and I wish I only had more money to spend on prints.

I see that Life just put up a huge new site full of photos that you can get printed too. I think they are the only ones who sell the Life collection.
