Doe Tagging

Flash photo of the mud on the jeep window with the porch light in the background.

Crosshairs drifting back as I shot lefthanded with a borrowed rifle. This is the exit side. 82 lbs field dressed. Prime sized. I shot a Steyr .308 boltie of some kind with a big Leupold scope.

Update: Rifle owner tells me I'm shooting a .260. Great rifle at any caliber.

I thought you were too old to play in the mud :-) That doe looks pretty healthy, and a good shot wrong handed, especially with a borrowed gun!

Wow. I never thought of a jeep window as ever being a kind of rorschach test. Very revealing. I see flying geese by the way.

I've been wanting a .260 Remington myself.
