Garands on the line, first relay. The line stayed busy Saturday and Sunday with folks shooting Garand/Springfield/Vintage/M1Carbine.
Terrell Rifle and Pistol Club hosted the TSRA Garand/Springfield/Vintage/M1Carbine match. Big Crowd, all shooting many matches plus the delayed Panola May Regional Pistol EIC?LEG match.
Garand Match course of fire is five sighters then 10 shots slow fire prone, 10 shots in 70 seconds prone and 10 shot standing for a 300 point match. All at 200 yards. The club issued 30-06 Greek HXP ammo for Garand, Springfield and 1917 Vintage. Other rifles had to bring their own.
Pistol EIC was 10 shots at 50 yards slow fire, 5 shots in 20 seconds at 25 yards (twice) and 5 shots in 10 seconds at 25 yards, (twice) for a 300 point match.
Terrell Club (Alan Wilson) fixed lunch for five bucks and TSRA Directors Rick Crawford, Roy Plumlee and David Wilson called a terrific event. Thanks to everyone involved.
