Not in the valley but in the park. Here's the LINK. Gotta cut some trees or introduce goats to eat the underbrush. After 100 years of no burning the forest is loaded with tinder.

AND the Dept of Interior is cutting funding for forest maintenance... Sigh...
They wouldn't let the Rangers do controlled burns, now it's too dangerous, and OBTW, they're out of money to pay for fire services and fire bombers!
Didnt Mother Nature have a way of dealing with this? I seem to remember seeing a documentary of how well Yellowstone recovered after a devastating fire in the 70's or 80's. I think it used to burn frequently. It was only after people started messing with it that it became a problem. I believe when the government says the fire is out of control they mean it is out of their control. There is a difference.
